I am with smitch6 for my hosting and can say it is quick :) Cant comment on uptime yet but looks stable enough and gives warning about updates :)

For the price you cant go wrong. :)

Well I use smitch6 hosting also and the great advantage for me is I can ask him questions on PM and dont feel such a wally for asking what to me might be dumb questions. So far really impressed, it isnt without a few problems but nothing that so far has caused me major heartache.

all this talk about hyping my business up put a jinx on it i reckon lol
as we had a problem this morning with an update and everything broke lol
thankfully my tech have now sorted it within a couple of hours and everyone is back on-line successfully again phew
i hate it when the server breaks as i feel as tho i'm letting ppl down and i nag my tech big time into getting it sorted instantly.
thankfully they are really good and do get it sorted quickly

Unless your site is not available a lot, I doubt if there's many people on this forum who would stand to lose much business (I stand to be corrected) It is annoying but I think unless you are checking your site every few minutes you wouldnt have a clue whats really going on. I built a server for a telecomunication company a few years back and it was for them to sell their software to another company. It was big bucks and an amazing bit of kit because if it went live and the deal went ahead every minute it was down cost the company about £5k in revenue. Oh how I wish that were true for me#
