Re: carrier sheets

Post by sarahjayne »

I need to cut 2 sheets of A3 card - I looked at the cameo carrier sheets but with postage it will cost me £20 and wondered has anyone any ideas how I could DIY one as it's just for this one off.
I thought of an A3 card with a sheet of sign application tape spary glued to the top of it ( as I have these already) - any idea if it will work or what I can use instead?
cheers

How about the carrier backing from t shirt flex as most have a tacky glue to hold the cut out lettering and logos before applying to garments

Not exactly a DIY suggestion, but I've heard you can use the Eclips carrier sheets. I saw them in Hobbycraft at the weekend...£7.50 for two so much cheaper than genuine cameo ones.

Card and double sided tape.

Jack.
If at first you don't succeed, read the manual.
