Re: For curiosity's sake only - how much would you charge for this ..... ?

Just out of interest/curiosity (and this is me just wondering, not doubting) - how much would 'YOU' charge for this job?

I have completed the job and it's gone - and I know how much I charged (I and the customer were happy) but I am just curious how much everyone else would charge for a similar job?

If you are going to answer this question - please read everything below and I will explain why I'm asking this.

1. T-shirts are to be supplied and are Gildan Ultra 100% Cotton T's (adult sizes).
2. Design to feature on front and rear of t-shirt and each t-shirt is to be personalised with a different name each t-shirt (on the rear).
3. Front design features 3 colour vinyl (white - main area & text, yellow - sun, and green - top of palm trees).
4. Rear text is a different name on each t-shirt.
5. 6 Adult t-shirts are to be produced.

Note the t-shirt shown in the photograph above is a medium adults (to give you an idea of the size of the design).

Why am I asking this?
Well, as I said - I'm happy with my prices and I know my customers are but even though it would be helpful to see what others would charge I also thought it would be nice for 'newbies' to see how the 'goal posts' (price-range) may vary depending on experience etc.

If you answer ....
Please let me know how much you'd quote per t-shirt on 6 being produced and also the experience (how long you have been doing this for, i.e t-shirts and stuff). And please be honest - if someone says £7.99 and you think that you'd normally charge £13.99 then either say this or if you don't want to put a price on it you could say 'between £11.99 and £16.99'.

Edit: also guys, if you are going to answer could you also say if you do how 'busy' you are and if you are home based or a shop owner as the overheads vary depending on what bills need to be paid (as you can imagine).

Personally, I think it will be interesting to compare what people would quote - but I don't mean to offend anyone by asking (that's not my intention at all).

What price did I charge?
Well, I know what I charged and I will post up the price after we have had a few quotes as I don't want to 'sway' anyone.

Thanks guys :)

interesting Paul - just added an edit (if you are home based or a shop owner as overheads may vary depending on where you work from and how 'busy' you are - i.e more designs on vinyl means using the spare bits of vinyl and not throwing them away).

I did say mate - 6 shirts (see point number 5)

also - no repeat order as they were Holiday t-shirts but they 'may' come back for other stuff as they were happy with the service - but this quote was on this particular job and not based on repeat orders.

Ref 'my price' - would like to see a few more quotes first ;-)

Bit of a complicated design for a one off stag or hen - I'd be slightly more than Paul for the finished job but that would include delivery & vat. I cannot get away with charging £14.00, Paul, for single colour on one side - really wish I could but there must be too much cheap competition here.

Adam, Why's the Magaluf upside down?

Check you out John - the first one to pull this up! (a trained eye you see).

Why is it upside down? Don't really know but it was in the brief that it MUST be upside down ................. strange I know but hey. the customer is always right.
