Re: Sun fly free sample pack

Got an email from sun fly this morning offering a free sample pack on the polymer range, which includes, 2 mugs, travel mug, metal insert, 8" plate, 4 coasters, 10 ornaments and a jigsaw.

They only want to charge P&P, which is fair enough, but it's $43.56 for delivery, which is roughly £26.59, which I think is a bit steep.

Just wondering if anyone else got the email and if they'll be taking up the offer?

Delivery seems fine to me considering where it will be coming from.

I find the polymer blanks a bit expensive so not interested right now.

I got it as well Kaz and although I am interested in the products I think getting samples in that are not viable just won't work out at the moment.

I like the idea of the polymer jigsaws that can be printed on both sides - but not sure on the price and getting a sample would only excite me too much!

I think $43 for courier delivery from China is an excellent price given the costs of couriers generally. If you fancy the polymer mugs we will have these in stock in around 2-3 weeks.

Ah, now Paul gotcha....you've committed the sin of not reading posts - tut tut tut :)

There is a post here where I mentioned these and indication of prices as well as a starter pack of mugs and the puck for inside. I'll have a search for the post but I guess you may now beat me to it!

As for poly plates then no plans - you still need a plate press and the plates we have in stock with the flat metal inserts that can be pressed in a standard flat bed press which are proving popular.
