Anybody used Raja?

Post by JMugs »

Long story short.
Many years ago I bought a huge amount of mixed mugs from a print company that was closing it's mugs side. They printed well. Now I think they said they bought from Raja, but it was a long time ago and my memory is "pants" at it's best.

I vaguely recall somebody on here used them, but a search turns up "diddly squat" .

Any ideas on what Raja are like?

Note xpres 15oz print well - made in Thailand
xpres 5013 print well - made in Thailand
Raja --- no idea, made in Thailand.

You see my line of thought....... :D

Another note......
Just popped Raja an email asking about prices etc.

Never quite worked Raja out. Bought from them many years ago and whilst decent quality prices were keen.

They disappeared off my radar and then a friend told me he'd starting buying from them again. After a long search I managed to find a phone number and gave them a call. I wanted to place an order but they could never get back to me with prices or anything.

Last I heard they had a warehouse being run by one person so were simply importing, stock had been a big issues I believe.

So, I have tried to work with them again but they proved impossible. This was a couple of years back so maybe things have changed again since.

I emailed them on Saturday. It's now Thursday and no reply.
Not encouraging.

Update...
I have had a reply from Beth. Apparently they do still have the UK warehouse with 10oz and 11oz mugs in stock.
Didn't include prices or more than the simple confirmation. :?

It would appear that communication is now on the ball-ish. See below

"Our standard prices are as below

10oz/11oz Mugs(36's)    £36.72+VAT per case (1-40 cases)or £33.48+VAT per case (40+ cases)

Pint Mugs (24's)         £38.88+VAT(1-40) or £36.96+VAT (40+)

Stein Mugs (36's)        £48.24+VAT(1-40) or £45.00+VAT (40+)

I can offer you the pallet price (40+) for a mixed pallet, it does not need to be 40 cases of each item.

Thank you"

It's still a bit like pulling teeth. What about delivery?????

I shall persist.

Haha well done for persisting, strange when you have to do this to give companies business isn't it!?

I did email them a while back to see about getting deals for the forum members, buying in bulk etc. but again never heard anything.

I sent the elusive "Raja" an email on Friday with a simple question regarding their 10oz and 11oz mugs. As they list them as the same height, width and volume i wanted to know what was the difference? It appears on obvious question.
The response? Errr no don't be silly, there hasn't been one!
I messaged the EU side of Raja when I didn't get a response to my initial enquiry asking if the UK warehouse was still open. They replied in 10 minutes.

So I give up with Raja UK. I might just stir the pot a bit by sending an email to the EU side highlighting the lack of response from the UK. Just for my own amusement.
