I’ve been running a Sawgrass SG800 since 2018. Absolutely no problem with the printer, but I’m now on my 5th set of cartridges this year, so I’ve spent in excess of £1200 on ink this year. I’m doing quite a lot of full-colour A3+ prints for teatowels and suspect this is using up a fair chunk of my usage.
Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket ink + cartridges from the likes of Ink Experts?
One issue may be that I create all my designs on a MacBook and use Sawgrass Print Manager which I understand doesn’t support ICC profiles or non-SG cartridges - are there any work-arounds?

Re: Cost Effective Ink Solution for SG800 Needed
I've got to admit, I always used ink from City Ink Express and never had any issues. I've got stuff I printed quite a few years back, including ceramic mugs which have been microwaved and dishwashed umpteen times, and they look as good as new.
I have a Ricoh SG3110DN printer, but I believe the Ricoh SG7100DN carts (as shown by the link above) are compatible with the Sawgrass SG800, seeing as the Sawgrass printers are basically re-badged Ricoh's.
Might be worth emailing CIE for more help. They usually reply pretty fast and can also supply ICC's to match their inks.
