Hi everyone, great forum

I currently have my sublimated mugs printed externally but have decided to research the possibilities of printing my own.

I have been researching/looking online and there seems to be so many different reviews from fantastic bit of kit to avoid for the same product.

Could I ask your opinions on the Cricut mug press Please? Or what you currently use and why you like it?

I will be printing eps files onto 8ox porcelain, 10 & 11oz ceramic mugs

Thank you in advance for your replies, Amanda:smile:

Hi Amanda, personally from what I've seen i wouldn't recommend the Cricut press, maybe OK for occasional use but it sounds like you must be doing a good amount so need something better built for the purpose.

MDP/Signzworld both do a cheap press that has recently been recommended here (search will find these threads) and both will be cheaper than the Cricut and better. I doubt (but could well be wrong) that Cricut will print all different sizes.

Depends on your quantities but we use ovens in house, far better than individual presses for consistency and getting much closer to handle, top to bottom print etc.

The Cricut press can only do one size of mugs and once the element goes, it can't be replaced (unlike on other presses). I'm also looking at a new mug press and am going to go for the press Justin mentioned from MDP / Signzworld.
