I've currently got a large swing press by Galaxy, It is OK, but for the smaller one I'd rather use another brand as the heat on the Galaxy isn't as consistant throughout as I would like it to be and worry that it is a brand issue. Which brands of small clam heat presses are mostly recommended, thanks in anticipation.

My advice would be not to use a clam press but stick with a swicng away IF you have the space for this. Brand will depend very much on your budget. I would be looking to buy a used good quality branded machine rather than spend the same on a new cheaply built machine.

I have small Chinese press and it was best buy I made for years. I think I paid like £200 delivered if that.I have to tighten few screws every now and then but other then that, works perfectly.
I use it so often this days... polos, tags, baby shirts etc...
Love it! I got it few years now, and if it brakes, I will just buy new one.
