I'm a bit intrigued/confused by this post...

Using an MDP mug press and Ink Experts paper my pressing times are 180 seconds at 180 degrees

What am I missing where it is possible to press at 30 - 50 seconds?

We have just ditched Tex-Print paper as well having used it for years. Not only due to price (nearly doubling in two years) but also fine detail is lost and blacks are bleeding badly. Something must of changed with the paper over the past year. So we are moving to A-Sub 120g mug paper which seems to be excellent in terms of detail although have a feeling we might need to create another ICC profile as the blues are coming out a little dark. Does any one know of a UK supplier of the larger A-Sub mug paper for 15oz mugs?

A common cause of confusion.
On my Genie III mug press, Listawood recommend cooking their mugs at 170c with a 45 sec timer, however this only starts counting down when the mug temp has reached 170c, so the total time including the mug heating up is closer to 180 secs
