I made some stickers for my boy (5) to put on his snacks he takes to school.
all printed and good to go but the wife took one and stuck it on her phone after two days the white vinyl is showing through.
laminated they are fine but they are for short term use so it doesn’t matter but wondered if anyone has had a similar issue and how they solved it.
I only Supply laminated products but if I was asked for U.K. laminated items I would be very wary.
Im using genuine Roland ecosol max inks
Find this to be the same on both detape and ritrama vinyl.
Maybe there’s a setting in VW that I have not set?

Re: Print rubbing off in laminated vinyl.
Are you laying down too much ink (overprinting or too many passes)? Maybe the ink layer is too thick to cure properly.
I haven't heard anything bad about ecosol inks, but Mimaki ss21 inks have good abrasion resistance when fully dry.
