Laser engraving/cutting materials

Hi all,
Is there anyone on here that does laser engraving on to wood.
I'm looking for decent Oak veneered mdd 4mm thick.

I've tried loads but the quality is rubbish.

The sheets are not flat and the veneer quality is rough.
I want to cut out shapes and laser engrave them and also UV print on to them so the quality needs to be good.

I've found Trotec but their prices are through the roof.

Any advice on quality suppliers will be appreciated
