Adkins Twin mug presses and blankets - out of stock everywhere?

We're processing hundreds of mugs a week in our Adkins twin presses. Our mug blankets are well past 1000 runs each and need replacing but we can't find the blankets in stock anywhere! If anyone knows of any stock can you please let me know. Another option would be to buy more presses but I can't find them in stock either.

Have you thought about moving over to ovens? We've not looked back. Stil have the single head presses but very rarely use them.

Thanks, I’ve actually just ordered some wraps to try. It might be the best way forward. Do you use a specific mug oven or just a normal oven?

Yes, several of us use the Blizzard ovens. Do a search here and you'll find all the info.

The elements have been delayed getting into the UK at the moment, Xpres are due a delivery at the end of May but we were told that a lot of them have been pre-ordered so might be worth phoning up to see if there are any to allocate for their next shipment.

What sides and how many are you after?

Thank you. The thing with this delivery is that we ordered back in Nov and it's been pushed back several times so I've got little faith in the end of May. Not the fault of Xpres at all, they have been great, just the way things are at the moment. We're after left and right, two of each. Thinking seriously about ovens so it might be that we don't need them.

We had a replacement element sent directly by Adkins a couple of days ago for the old four pin female type (studio mug press). Obviously no stock issue with the old type elements I guess. I must admit this was a replacement for a replacement for another element that went bad within a week. Personal opinion is that they have had a huge batch of faulty elements (not based on anything but own experience) and trouble getting new ones in. We as a company are now going away from Adkins.
