Simon, I think the comment about bringing out all of the reject mugs was a little 'tongue in cheek' to be honest.

"creating a false and sinister rhetoric that smears the reputation of a supplier" is a bit of an over reaction I think. All folk are doing here is posting their genuine experiences. If a supplier continually fails to supply good quality products in a fit state and also fails to correct such problems in a timley manner surely they're responsible for getting themselves a bad name no-one else?

Absolute codswallop...

First of all, at least Janners had the maturity to accept the comment I made and did not try and dilute it by claiming another false line of it being "tongue in cheek"

"Genuine experiences" is a phrase you have just used to publicly endorse a lie regarding how customers are treated by a supplier. If it was a genuine experience about quality or treatment then why the DSF endorsed false line about fobbing off with rejects?

I could go on but its not worth it tbh. I used to think this was an unbiased forum for people to discuss REAL problems and exchange helpful advice. Sadly, it appears not in my opinion and recently is just being used to gas light suppliers.

Dear Gordon

I think I replied to you whilst at the checkout at Sainsbury's on Saturday! If it didn't get through to you it might have been because I was typing with one hand whilst juggling groceries with the other.

Either way, if you could forward your number to alex@listawood.com I'll make sure you get a call back by return.

With Kind Regards, Alex.

On a positive note,
It is this sort of thing that helps restore my faith in a business. It's the aspect of actually feeling like somebody is listening.
I accept that when sat in a big business looking out, it isn't always possible to see what others see looking in or be aware of their frustrations. We are now aware that Alex is aware of the frustrations, which can only really be a good thing for all parties.

Now coffee and back to printing.

Listawood sent my replacement mugs today - and they look spot on. There'll always be errors in business, it just happens, I make plenty myself - but I think it's how mistakes are dealt with that leaves a lasting impression and I have found them very good to deal with.

Exactly, all companies have issues but it's how well they deal with them, learn from the issues and move forward.
