Re: Paper/Heat Element leaving imprint film on mug

Post by Claire-Thistledown »

Hi - I have previously used BMS balmoral mugs with Ink Experts paper and heated to 180d for 100secs. (Apologies for my non technical lingo) I have never had an issue with this. Due to the shortages, I have now purchased Balmoral mugs through Coral. I am now getting a print mark of where my paper has been wrapped around the mug with the pattern of the heat element wrap on that area? I have tried adjusting my time and temp, but nothing i do is making a difference! help please! Many thanks in advance. Image attached.

Are you printing on the right side of the paper?

Well I can see that your printed image is blurred. Try reducing the temperature by 10 degrees C along with a matching time to get a sharp print and see if the other problem goes too.

Hi, I know this post is old but just wondered did you manage to find a solution? I have just got some new mugs and have the same type marks from the paper and heat blanket. Thank you
