Hi all I am looking at buying a basic package with a vinyl cutter mug and t-shirt press like this one in the link

am I wasting my money I just want to learn about it all and print my own stickers mugs t-shirts etc. If this is a waste of money could anyone recommend any please

I wouldnt touch that myself the press won’t be much good at best.
the cutter will be unreliable and clumsy.
You would be better off purchasing small like a cameo cutter or cricut for making designss up to 12” wide. And a quality press for mugs and T-shirt’s.
you will also need a sublimation printer setup for mugs.

If your looking for a cricut take a look on hobbycraft and amazon.
I purchased one for cutting cake toppers two weeks ago From amazon for £179 but not sure if the offers still on? (fyi the colour makes no odds to the machine)
Always shop around John Lewis sell them too and come with a no quibble two year warranty.
