Hi all from another newbie!

Hi all. I never know what to say so I have been putting off starting this introduction. My children are getting ready to fly the nest and so I would like to get back into something creative. Basically I have set myself of the goal to have a business up and running within three years that would save me from a more conventional 9-5. I know that to do so I will have to do longer hours then that when most dream of when they talk about running their own business. I just want to fill those hours with something I will enjoy and can be proud of.

I have a strong art background and what to get my ideas on print. I'm thinking T-Shirts and tiles for kitchens and bathrooms. I have never printed before so any and all of what I have been looking into is a huge learning curve. I have lurked on here for quite awhile so I'm hoping my questions will be more on point. At first I would of been what, why, how on everything.( there is a lot to take in!) I think my understanding, thank you google and this forum, has reached a point that a little direction in where to start would be most appreciated.
