Re: Printwear & Promotion 2019 QUESTION

Post by socialgiraffe »

Hi All

For those of you who attended P&P this year I have a question...

There was a digital cylindrical printer being showcased. The printer itself was not working and they were only showing videos. I think they were Dutch but that is a bit of a guess. I remember that they had two machines, one at 100,000 Euros and the other at 150,000 Euros.

On the stand they had loads of different samples of cylindrical items it could print.

Anyway, can anyone remember the name of the company showcasing the printer?

Respnse from P&P.....

This has got us stumped for a number of reasons.

1) We don’t recall such a product being on display either physically or on video

2) Our only overseas equipment exhibitor was Aeoon, but they are Austrian

3) This machine sounds quite pricey and usually exhibitors tend to avoid showcasing machines of this value at P&P LIVE! because of that reason.

4) It could potentially be Sabur Digital as I know as a stockist of Mimaki they may supply one of their cylindrical printers, but the team is from Yorkshire…

My guess would be the Mimaki 3042Mkii with a kebab unit

But you are looking at the £25,000 mark not £100k
