Re: eBay Sales
Hi all,
Just trying to get peoples opinions on listing using BIN format - either using 30 day or "Good until cancelled" option?
I understand the format behind "Good until cancelled" as this saves time relisting things etc... but surely this would have an impact on where you would appear on the list?
anyone got any input?
Anthony

Re: eBay Sales
all mine are on GUC listings and I dont have any issues where they appear, you will get further up the ranking once you have good feedback, free postage also helps to keep you up top.

Re: eBay Sales
Just to reopen this discussion, as iv only just started back on eBay and listed my first “bulk” of listings in the normal manner BIN using GUC - I have just opened my shop as this works out cheaper then individual listings... my question is after the 30 days have elapsed will eBay try and charge for the listings as singles as originally listed or should it use my “monthly shop allowance”?

Hi,
I believe that each 30 day relist for GTC will be charged regardless of having a shop
Rather than GTC's just automatically relisting every 30 days, one of the key advantages of GTC is building and maintaining sales history, that will help in search rankings
BTW, ebay calls it Good Til Cancelled, if you search ebay for GTC, there's much more info than my limited knowledge
Cheers, Kevin

Obviously I did not want to leave it and be charged £30+ shop fee and £30 listing fee.
I will make a decision later which way I want to go with it
Thanks

Hi,
I've just had a details look at my monthly invoice, I stand corrected, I have a credit for GTC relists using my monthly shop allowance
I'd taken my 1st answer off ebay help pages........lol
