Warranty Repairs

I want to return a recently purchased Epson back to the retailer for a warranty repair. I'm assuming that it's not an ink issue, but has anyone had difficulties with warranties when the printer is full of sublimation ink?

I once called to get a repair, I told them I was using sublimation ink and they didn't say it would void the warranty. They just said that I had to return the printer with Epson ink inside (as they don't guarantee that their printers work good with non-OEM inks).

I sent one back recently for refund but drained the sublimation ink and refilled with normal.

Had to get a 1500W exchanged with Epson and had no issues at all.

They collected it and delivered a new one at the same time. I had a CISS so left the ink that was in there and just took the CISS out.
