Re: do you impressed by pneumatic mug press?
I've never had a pneumatic press but, to my mind, it's just something else to go wrong!
Re: do you impressed by pneumatic mug press?
I agree with webtrekker on this, it's just something else that could go wrong at a crucial moment. Also I like to feel how much clamping pressure I'm putting onto the mug, so unless this has got an accurate pressure gauge I'd be concerned about that.cigilgan;127020 wrote:do you think pneumatic part is essential or it is piece of rubbish. I find them good to work with.

Re: do you impressed by pneumatic mug press?
We have one, didn't heat to a high enough temp to print properly (or maybe didn't give enough pressure) so we gave up on it after wasting too many mugs trying to make it work.
I really wanted it to work, and was very disappointed when it didn't.
maybe we have a duff one, but I can't remember where we got it, and it was so long ago now that I doubt I could return it anyways.
One dealer I talked to about the pneumatic and double head presses, was that although they had stock and sold both units, they would not be getting more stock of the pneumatics, but definitely recommended the double header.
The only thing I found the pneumatic good for, was that it could print the glass tumbler/whisky glasses that break in normal mug presses, but no one stocks them anymore, and not sure it's worth the trouble of listing them on noths when we don't have much stock left of them. -- if anyone still has some in their warehouse, do get in touch though!
