Re: Unisub Coaster Backs - Getting Worse
I'll give the cloths a go. But we print about 100 placemats a week and never chipped an edge yet lol.

Interested to hear what your suppliers have said when you've mentioned these issues to them? I've had problems with other Blanks this year but that's another thread

Re: Unisub Coaster Backs - Getting Worse
Support ticket raised with Xpres about the bad quality of the Unisub coasters so will keep this thread up to date with response.

Re: Unisub Coaster Backs - Getting Worse
Xpres were out of stock until early December when a new shipment came in. BMS and Subliblanks already had existing stock. Therefore I believe the issue is with new stock. I have had a response from Xpres but requires us to provide back more photographic information which we shall try and do later if the coffee machine is cranked up to max.

Re: Unisub Coaster Backs - Getting Worse
They were very proactive and said they've already read it when responding (we mentioned we created a thread on here).
INTERESTING - BMS have posted a facebook message that they are getting in Unisub alternatives this Friday (coasters and placemats) that are exactly the same size (90mm and 3mm). The cost is a few pence less than Unisub (taking into account the 10% DSF code on Xpres) which isn't enough on its own to make us jump ship but of course if the backing quality is better then it will.
I'll talk with Scott to see if they will send out a sample to us so we can review and let you Unisub users how they compare.

Well if they've read it then they ought to have responded here in some way.
That's 1 demerit in my book.

Still speaking with Xpres who are agreeing that others are having same issue. Just sent them a photo comparison which I will upload here as well for reference.
