Which Mugs?

Ok, so almost everyone has their favourite suppliers, but which mugs offer the best value? Up to recently, we have been using Signzworld Double Coated mugs but are experiencing quality issues, so need to find something better.

I'm currently torn between Dino 11oz Mugs from Subliblanks and the Listawood 11oz Duraglaze PhotoMugs.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

So now you need to look for quality and pass the extra price on your customer. it will pay off.
I used Listawood, Dyesublimationsupplies and coralgraph. all three has outstanding quality. but as you said, everyone has their favourite...

Hi Paul. The reason we've held off previously is that we sell a lot on eBay and have to obviously compete with the guys that don't care about the quality of their mugs (although we always back our mugs with a guarantee), but I cannot bare the thought of customers not being happy, so need to sort something.

Is it the listawood duraglaze you use? Any fading with dishwashing?

To be honest, we've gone past the stage of worrying about a price limit per mug. We print around 1,000 mugs a month, so we need to be consistent with our quality, so that's my main concern.

All i can say is I ordered a batch of 72 from sigzworld 10oz mugs out of the 72 12 were smashed, about 20 had a bad coating with dimples and a few faded terribly in the dishwasher. I shant be using them again.

I have found the best mugs I can get are the 10oz and 15oz from both Xpres and BMS, they may not be the cheapest but i've tried mugs from many sources with varied results. The Xpres and BMS mugs have been flawless for me.

Wow gazfocus, 1000 mugs a month? What am I doing wrong lol I've only sold just under 200 in a year. I find eBay prices so low for mugs. I sell on etsy for £10 and don't want to put the same on eBay for less, but not sure people pay that much. I guess I could design some specifically for eBay. If you don't mind me asking, what do you sell for? I know we don't like to give anything away but this doesn't seem like an unreasonable question lol - so only answer if you want. Thanks!

Believe me, it's taken a long time to get to where we're at, and we're very grateful for the business. A lot of our orders are bulk orders from business customers buying mugs with their logos on, etc, so we don't make a huge profit per mug so to speak.

One thing we don't do at the moment is have any pre-designed mugs although this is something we're aiming to start next year, but it's just finding the time. I'd give your mugs a shot on Amazon perhaps. If the designs are selling on etsy, Amazon might work well.

Longforte and Listawood both were kind enough to send some samples out and we placed an order with Longforte which arrived yesterday...however, we now appear to have a fault with our printer so have not been able to print many yet....damn technology.

Xpres 5013's / BMS Europeans. Wouldn't touch mugs from anywhere else.
