If all you are doing is testing then just do a google image search and select Large and portrait. That will bring up something useable.

I've given up on that. Next question...

I've converted to Photoshop today. I've got the free CS2 version. I cant seem to find how to scale the image down smaller. I had gimp previous and you can click in scale and left click and drag to suit.

If same as Photoshop CC then go to Edit in top menu, the "transform" option and then "scale". Keep shift button down if you want to scale in proportion.

Several ways to do that. If you want to resize the whole thing then click on IMAGE and scroll down to IMAGE SIZE

If it's one thing then select the item and then EDIT and scroll to TRANSFORMATIONS.

Still bloomin struggling. I've been messing for over an hour lol.

I've opened up a new A3 layer. I have then opened up my picture which is a lot bigger than the A3 template. I cant work out how to cut the image so the part I want fits into the A3 template. Ive looked on youtube but cant really find anything. Once I have opened the picture I'm using I cant seem to see the A3 template to size it too either??
