I have seen a lot of posts about the differing papers, and peoples discussions on 'ink release'
I was wondering if people would be willing to share images of their paper after subbing? I notice the paper i use still has a heavily defined image on it after pressing, and the mug looks no way under exposed.
Maybe i am expecting the paper to show a lot less then it does?

Don't have an image to hand, but most papers as far as I'm aware will still show the image pretty strongly, just with faded colours.

It all depends on what paper you are using and on what substrate.
My two pennies worth on your comment would be "if its working for you then leave it alone"
