Re: Clip art Problems!!

Post by michael »

Hi there.
Everytime i print out a clip art image it prints out with a dull box around it.....looks terrible when applied to mugs.
Im using Coreldraw 12 with an icc profile.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Im printing mugs for companies using there logos which are in jpeg format.
Ive tried the magic wand thing but still prints out with that dullish box in back ground.

Please help me
best regards

Hi Michael, what type of images are you using? 'Clipart' is a generic term which does not describe the image well. If you look at the image title it will end with '.jpg' or '.png' etc. Do you get this problem with a particular type of image? It is difficult to give a precise answer and avoid speculation without knowing a little more about what it is you are dealing with.

When you describe this dull box do you mean an outline stroke or the whole box filled with a feint tone. Do you have an example to show?

I am sure this forum will provide sound solutions for you.

If you are printing these for this company they should be able to provide you with an actual graphic file, ai CDR or even a PDF would be better than an images taken from the web.
Many thanks

Cheers Paul, for some reason I am not getting all " New Posts" when they are new only showing up in " The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts."

I didn't notice the timeline either.
Many thanks

I that directed at me or the original question? If the original question, I would like to know how it was solved as well.
