Re: Looking 4 pin (female) mug standard df1 blanket replacement wraps????

Post by LisaM »

Hi, i need a new standard mug blanket wrap to fit a df1 mug press with female 4 pin attachment, i know bms sell these but they are sold out and I urgently need replacement. Any ideas where to get them? I tried coralgraph but theyve only the 4 pin male attachment.
Any help appreciated thanks

Be very careful - there is no such thing as a standard mug blanket - although a lot of them use the same type plugs, there is no agreed standard of wiring, with different factories in China (with identical looking mug presses) choosing different pinouts for wiring. What is equally unhelpful, when I have asked a number of UK dealers in the past to tell me what the wiring is on their presses/blankets they have been unresponsive. So, you can either take the risk, and buy a blanket from another dealer, and it will either work, or not work (possibly resulting in the blanket and/or press control unit being damaged)
