I just phoned them up to check! and yes, £51 per roll. She said it was more "high spec" probably than a £2 roll. Maybe gold flakes in it!

is this tape just for mugs as i used it to stick transfer to a gym bag and a coaster and left marks on them

We only ever use the cheapest 'sticky tape' we can find, and have done for years. I still have all my brand new expensive never touched heat tape here in case I find a practical use for it. The cheap sticky tape doesn't seem to leave much residue after pressing like the expensive stuff like 3M or BEAR does. If there is any, it wipes off with a little solvent on a rag.
