An ICC profile is a small file that is an index of colour values, telling the computer how to control the printer and how to mix the ink colours in it to produce as close a result to the colours you are wanting. Without it your computer doesn't know how to use the inks in the printer, and will just assume it still has the original Epson inks in it, which sublimation inks are different colours. Each printer model will print differently, and the final colour is also dependant on what transfer paper you use, and what you are printing to.
You will need to get an ICC profile made, and if you change your printer model, ink manufacturer, or transfer paper, you will need to also get a new ICC made - so choose your supplies wisely.

The easiest way to see if you need one is to print a mugshot...... if they look sunburnt then you need one. It is normally skin tones that you can tell with first.

Nice and easy to make them.......... IF you have the right kit

And, if you don't have the right kit, it's only about £25 to have one made for you.
