Hi Ucase

If you do not mind me asking...

Do you not use film for your 3D cases then?
Also, do you mind em asking, what machine do you use?

Hi Social,

I used to use the 3D film but I was given some bad advice when setting up and after wasting loads of cases I realised it just wasn't suitable for use with my ST3042 machine (unless I bought the extra internal thingmebob which isn't available anymore).

So now I just use paper.

Fair do.

What wrapping method do you use?

I have found with paper in that machine that the best wrap is the one where you do not actually wrap the paper, but instead tape it around the puck (someone suggested it on here, I tried it and it worked)!

I am using settings of 1 minute 50, very hot puck on Subliblanks cases (among others), oven is set at 410, but is normally around the 360 mark

What about you?

In terms of wrapping I think we're doing the same thing - vertical tape around the puck just in the top and bottom centre. No taping around the sides.

But my times are very different.
I pre-heat puck to 190c then cook for 6 minutes.

But I am using different cases - bought in bulk from szmicrotec.

Having said that my business seems to have gone in a different direction and I don't actually do many phone cases anymore. Which means I have hundreds of blank cases I'll probably also be flogging soon to get them out the way.

Not sure if you care, but I solved the bubbling problem with gold film, works like a charm, wont ever deal with paper and corners again.
