slates - who is the best supplier

Hi All

I have been buying slates from 2 suppliers and find one much better quality than the other. I've decided that I can no longer buy from one, but I want to buy other sized than are available from my preferred supplier. I have been looking on Longforte's website and see they have some nice sizes but I don't want to spend the money and find the quality is not as good as my other supplier.

Have any of you got any comments on the Longforte slates, how they look finished and if they crack at all?

Also, are there other suppliers which you can recommend.

who are those "2 suppliers"?
I got my from coralgraph and never ever had a one issue with them.
also got some from longforte and those where great. Tried BMS ones, no problem with them too

Only ever used coralgraph, don't do loads but never had a problem with cracking etc... did this one last week the day before we had to let her go

I second longforte they even sell alternative stands

apart from when Coral had the awful batch of matte finish slates which printed awful, I've not had a problem with them coming from Coral, Longforte or BMS - I just order them in from whichever company has the best price on them at the time of buying, or which company I'm needing to buy something else from at the time. Don't really notice a difference in them. We only use the 15x20cm ones.

+1 pisquee same here no problems but always order from whoever is least cost at the time of ordering.
