SECABO heat presses....any good?

Hi all,

been looking for good heatpresses and was almost ready to part with my cash for adkins 20x15 swing away press and then I saw the Secabo TS7 swing away...

Has anybody got one or use one and are they something you could recommend?

I keep looking at swing away presses because I understand they are better than the clam design.. Would you all agree or have I got it wrong???

Is that the auto swing away? Might be useful but most of us manage without the auto They do look like very good presses. Before you part with the money, take a look on Target Transfers site and also Pressmech. Not much to see on the latter but I can vouch for their presses being superb, as will others on here.

I have always managed with clam press,check out Jarin sports press, comes with 2 platens and allows garment threading

Personally I would never buy another!!

We had the Secabo TS7 and it has got to be the worst heat press we have ever used.

Problems that never got resolved:
Not being able to keep a constant temp (drifting +/- 15degrees)
The counter not being accurate (this was fixed with replacement controller)
Loose connections inside (This then led to a small fire and lots of smoke)... This never got resolved as there support is shocking!
Due to design not utilising a lever action the magnet can't hold really heavy pressure

Overall there support is shocking and want very little to do with it, only times we got anything done was when we posted direct on there social media.

In the end I sold this machine and bought a few atkins ez-auto clams which are fantastic!

FYI we got these from the magic touch £550+vat ea (purchased separately)


This is my finding with secabo, but you can't go wrong with adkins.

Thanks for the info re the Secabo.... I will stick with my first choice of adkins after that.
