Re: Sublimation paper
I’ve tried cheaper paper, but often is more hassle - thinner paper tends to jam/misalign and often doesn’t feed as well, particularly in damp/humid weather. I use S-Race for both hard and soft materials - yes it costs more, but I get a lot less waste.

Re: Cost Effective Ink Solution for SG800 Needed
<t>I’ve been running a Sawgrass SG800 since 2018. Absolutely no problem with the printer, but I’m now on my 5th set of cartridges this year, so I’ve spent in excess of £1200 on ink this year. I’m doing quite a lot of full-colour A3+ prints for teatowels and suspect this is using up a fair chunk of ...

Re: Sawgrass SG800 driver help needed
I have an SG800 and it runs from the printer utility downloaded from the Sawgrass website - the printer wasn’t supplied with any software.

Re: Ceramic Hearts
I have managed to print them double-sided quite successfully on a regular clamshell press - I have a 1cm thick silicone pad below and a thin, 3mm silicone one on top. I preheat for about a minute (not clamping the press down) and then press for 5 minutes at 195C.

Re: Trademark Registration Problem
<t>Trademark classifications mainly relates to the finished product, not the process - there are 35 different classes and things like tee-shirts are classed as apparel, mugs are a different class to glassware. I went through each class, line by line and in the end, ended up taking out a registration ...

Re: Sawgrass SG400 not printing correct size
<t>Hi, I'm generating my artwork in vector format using Graphic software on Mac and encountered the same problem with SG800 - drivers all installed OK. I export my artwork in vector format into .png and pick them up in the Virtuoso Print Manager and they come out slightly undersize. I've adjusted my ...

Re: Trademark Registration Problem
<t>It's not really about big companies receiving favours, it's simply about being the first to register a particular trademark - the UK IPO office who manage UK Registrations are simply applying their rules consistently and are very black/ white. Big companies do tend to take out multiple ...

Re: Trademark Registration Problem
<t>I'm just going through a trademark application myself. Are the other users holders of a trademark, or simply using the name? There are 35 trademark classes, but generally you can't have 2 similar trademarks in the same class. I'd suggest you need to speak to a trademark specialist who has ...
