Re: Pigment ink problem!! Please help!

Thanks, but therein lies a problem. I researched heavily in my business's first couple of years and could only ever find one supplier of *vinyl* inkjet media (best for being water-resistant), photopaperdirect. Other suppliers are paper based self-adhesive media.

Re: Pigment ink problem!! Please help!

<t>Ok to start, I know this isn't related to dye sublimation. But I'm tearing my hair out with this;<br/>

I am having a repeat of an issue i had a few years ago now, where I'm printing full colour, and the black is coming out sort of matt looking and not properly fixed to the page, and rubs ...

Re: a3 aluminium photo panels

I'm looking to purchase two of these but I can only find a few suppliers and those seem only willing to ship in packs of 10 or over (i dont need that many). Anyone know a supplier that can help?

Re: Slate Sublimation colour issue

<t>Hi Justin. that seemed to work and resolve the grey issue partially but i think its certainly the ICC. Another issue i noticed on the next slate I did was in darker areas of the photo it looks cloudy, like the ink hasn't taken properly almost, didn't happen the first time. It's as if the slate ...

It's a blue rubbery type, prob about 2mm thick. do you think it could be down to the heat (too much or too little) then Justin?

Re: Slate Sublimation colour issue

Nothing between slate and transfer no, though I do have a silicone sheet over the slate. So it was placed thus: lower platen, then slate, then transfer paper (wrapped and heat taped) then silicone sheet, then upper platen. I heated slate and silicone sheet for 1 minute first.

Re: Slate Sublimation colour issue

<r>Hi. Having an issue where my greys are coming out plum! Now a few things; I dont have a proper ICC profile - alex at inkexpress (where I buy my ink) has confirmed there's a problem ICC's on Windows 10 and photoshop cs3 and they don't work, so I'm printing using print settings. so that may well be ...

Re: Problems pressing tees platen outline showing

<t>Hi just to update this thread, in case anyone else searches and finds it (isn't it annoying when there IS no solution!). I've basically solved it after much trial and error, by ignoring trying to get Gildan 47000's working and buying better sublimation poly tees. It appears cheaper ones are a ...
