<r>Very new to the game. Pressed my first mugs today. Initially very happy with the results, but then noticed that the images were less strong and fading off towards the bottom half inch of the mug. I pressed 2 different designs - framed images not to the edge of the mug.<br/>

Re: Mugs printed all the way around
<t>I was in a trophy & print shop a few days ago checking out things and the shop owner showed me some mugs he had printed all the way round. Similar to what you saw I think, as there were circular areas where the handle meets the mug that were left blank. From what I could get from him, it's a ...

<r>Thanks for all the welcomes - seems like a friendly forum <E>:)</E> - and Martin has already been very helpful, sharing his knowledge of CIS systems. It's taken about a month to get setup and battle away with a number of problems but... I pressed my first mugs today <E>:D</E> Still issues to ...

Re: Is this the way CISS works?
<r>OK, thanks. So everything is working normally for now. I guess the printer is working blind and can't be expected to sense the mod I have done to it <E>:)</E>. If the CISS "cartridges" won't reset is it likely that I could replace that bit, or would I have to go for a spin with a whole other CISS ...

Re: Anyone using a Xpres 1000 (Adkins?) mug press?
<t>Starting out on the sublimation mug-pressing adventure. I've a got a second-hand mug press with no instructions - a Xpres 1000 - it weighs a ton so feels like it's a good bit of kit. Looked on the internet for instructions but drew a blank. Anyways, is there anyone else out there using ...

Re: Is this the way CISS works?
<t>I've fitted a Epson D120 with a CISS system. Had a lot of bother getting the printer to recognize the part of the CISS that replaces the cartridges. It might have been the contacts, the reset button, the level of ink in the system, I don't really know. After sucking the ink to the very tops of ...
