Hi,
Has anyone tried printing heat transfers on one of these printers: Lexmark C746DN?
I'm wanting to print transfers for tshirts and this printer is well priced at the moment.
Thanks

<t>Thanks for the replies.
Sorry, I should have been clearer about my intentions. I am going to be printing on transfer paper for t shirts.
I read the laser printer is pretty good but inkjet is more vibrant when pressed and has more choice when it comes to transfer papers.<br ...

Re: Which Printer?
<t>Hi,

I'm going to start printing transfers onto tshirts (hopefully) this month. I have read a few threads on the forum and it seems for me starting out I have a choice of two:

Epson 1500w with ciss and either Dye or Pigment inks

or

OKI 511. <br ...

Re: Longforte?
Ive just ordered a Galaxy Heat press DP100 with sliding platen from Subliblanks. They dont have any in stock at the moment, getting a delivery sometime in July. I emailed them and they offered me a 20% discount if I pre ordered which I did. Ive read some reviews and they get a good rating.

Re: application tape for matt sign vinyl
<t>Hi,

(Not sure this is the correct forum)

I recently got into sign cutting / printing etc.. Im using r tape AT60 for gloss vinyl but this doesnt adhere to matte vinyl. Ive read that AT65
is good for matt vinyl but I cant find any stockists in the UK.
Re: Liyu SC631e cutting help.
Thanks for the reply.
I will start keeping notes for the different kinds of vinyl.
The rollers are leaving an imprint in the vinyl at the moment. I will loosen them when I get home later.
You aren't wrong about a learning curve! lol
