Re: Business Start-up needs a new PC - please advise

<r>i5 machine with 8gig of ram should work fine. SSD will pep things up but not essential and I agree dual monitors do improve productivity, make sure they are good quality though and make sure your colour management is set up properly. Nothing worse than seeing one thing on screen and printing ...

Re: Print n Cut Owners

Re: CorelDraw - Which Version?

<t>I'm a Corel Draw man but a couple of programes worthy of note if your needs or budget don't warrant the expense are Inkscape (mentioned earlier) which is free, a little clonky to use but perfectly good for most basic stuff and also Affinity Draw (previously versions were known as Serif Draw Plus ...

I was just wondering if you could easily design your own template for any sized conical mug simply by typing in the required values, rather than relying on a template produced by a manufacturer.<e ...

Re: Corel draw, which one?

<t>The Student version do not usually have VBA and its the vba that allows the plotting utility macros to work so you may not be able to cut directly from Draw. I'm not sure if you can export as eps or ai from the student versions so you need to check that. If you can, you would be able to import ...

OK, I've just looked at your video and no the envelope tool doesn't work like that. Using a template supplied doesn't require any sizes you just use it. I'm not sure ...

What about the Envelope tool though? Is it possible to do what I suggested in my post above? For instance, I ...

Re: Corel Draw 2018 just released

<r><QUOTE author="webtrekker;131386"><s>[QUOTE=webtrekker;131386]</s>I'm not a CorelDraw user but I get how you can distort text and graphics with the envelope tool. However, getting back to latte mug templates, can you produce an envelope for a wrap by simply inputting the top radius, bottom radius ...

Re: Corel Draw 2018 just released

<r>Hi Logobear, not possible to lock the file format as new features mean you can't support everything in all versions. Upgrading really depends on what you use Corel Draw for as there are so many trades and professions that use it for completely different uses. As a signmaker my interest is ...
