Re: cutter blades
I've used Edward Mathias smart blades for the past 15 or so years, previously in my CX-24 and then Versacamm. I originally ordered a set of 5 and only last March had to order the 5 exchanges...Yes, they have lasted that long...so, true...you only get what you pay for

Re: well I've took the plunge... Epson 14000 ink tank size anyone?
Thanks for the reply. I've ordered the inks and subli fabric HR from Ink experts, Alex says 100ml will just be enough for both tanks. I use S-Race mug paper and find it works very well. Will let you know when I try the subli fabric paper. Cheers again for your reply, much appreciated

Re: What Roland Eco solvent ink works best for garment use?
<t>From what I've heard it's the Ecosol max 2 inks that don't stand up too well in the wash. My Sp300v still uses the original Ecosol max inks (original Roland ones) and not a problem with the ink washing out..just a problem with the vinyl cracking after a while..Not a huge fan of dark garment ...

Re: well I've took the plunge... Epson 14000 ink tank size anyone?
<t>An epson 14000 on it's way...another quick question for owners...How much ink does a tank hold in the 14000?. Reason I ask is would 1 100ml bottle of black ink fill both black tanks, or would I need 2 100ml bottles to fill both tanks?.<br/>

Re: UK alternative to AlbaChem Eco Mist Spray Adhesive
<r>I'm sure the 75 repositionable spray will be fine. I mainly use it for sew on patches / badges and works a treat, no there is no residue left behind on the item you press. It doesn't need much adhesive spray to hold it in place, I guess it's just trial and error to start with. Always make sure ...

Re: UK alternative to AlbaChem Eco Mist Spray Adhesive
<r>Hi Martin, I use 3M 75 repositionable adhesive spray, seems to work fine for me. This looks like a new can design from what I have, but sure it's the same stuff.<br/>

Re: Ricoh SG3110DN printing from Photoshop
<t>I went down this route a year or so ago, and changed inks from Sawgrass to Subli sharp inks and refillable cartridges in my Ricoh 3110 from Inkexpress. They supply an ICC profile which you install into photoshop. Easy as pie. So basically you would need to get hold of (or get made) an ICC profile ...

Re: HELP! Can I print on sticker paper/vinyl with my sublimation inks ?
<t>Hi Frankie, I believe you have to use a special vinyl with a sublimation coating. Not sure who stocks it nowdays, maybe worth doing a google search for UK suppliers. BMS used to do some, but can't see it on their site now. Probably easier just doing it on a different inkjet or laser printer with ...

Re: heat plate imprint on polyester
I read a long time ago about tearing the edges off the paper by hand, ok unless you've got a full page print..I did try it a while back and it seemed to work ok. Also you could try a teflon pad under the garment, supposedly they work too, but never tried as I don't possess any
