Re: Idle time ?

<t>Sundays?<br/>
No, I think it means the time when your not using your press when it's on maybe?<br/>
I know what idle temp is! It's the temperature you set your press on when you are not using it for pressing but still leave it on.<br/>
(most often lower than the heat you sue for pressing)<br ...

Re: Cardboard jigsaw puzzles

<t>Hey guys, everytime I sublimate a cardboard jigsaw puzzle and I am removing the paper from it after pressing it, it somtimes (most of the time) sticks to the sublimatable layer and peels it back while I am removing the paper so I have to be very careful.<br/>
Do you know what is causing this? Is ...

Re: ebay ink

<r>I have been offered sublimation inks for $40 per liter but those are cheap chineese inks.<br/>
I wouldn't trust them because you get no ICC profile or nothing with them so you have to make your own, so that is alot of blanks and alot of ink to waste, and also I've heard that these inks change ...

Re: Coralgraph ebay shop press

Thanks for the tip Paul! Winter hats come in handy for where I'm from.
I was also given this tip about shutting the press off if it's been working for more than one hour, but then again if I have been pressing for an hour straight it's time to take a brake anyway and cool off :)

Re: Coralgraph ebay shop press

mcdodd, I just had mine for a few days so I can't vouche for the reliability yet.
But I'm glad to hear from Paul that his press has lasted this long. :D
Too bad to hear about the cap attachment as I haven't tried it yet, but it's more than enough for me right now.

Re: Coralgraph ebay shop press

<t>I use the same press as Ian, and I must say it's great!<br/>
I can even do full bleed mugs with the mug attachment, just tried it today and it's perfect.<br/>
It's a great starter press because of all the attachments you can use; caps, mugs, latte mugs, and normal plate for shirts and jigsaws etc ...

<t>You can actually build a "Mac" these days with PC computer hardware. (Just install MacOs on it)<br/>
But you need to choose your parts carefully and only use the same as Mac does, now days they use the same stuff as everyone else.<br/>
You can save 40-50% off just to assemble it yourself. (won't ...
