ok I've taken on board what everyone has said, I was looking at my creation out in the cold light of day yesterday, and yeah I can see that the colours are not right.....so I've paid for an ICC profile from paul....looking forward to seeing the difference :-)

Thanks for the tips guys, I will get round to getting my head around it!!

I think I may be running a too old version of photoshop, it's V3 on a win 7 32 bit machine........I keep seeing a grid on the screen that is in negative mode!!!! very strange but very offputting!
