But the point is the logos are just part of the whole object, and I photographed the whole object, and the copyright of that photograph belongs to me.
That is the answer I got from a lawyer.

No it was not Honda that complained.
I have never had any problems with Bike mugs, I was talking to some other traders at a sublimation show and opinion appeared to be so long as you make it clear they are not official merchandise the bike companies are not concerned.
