Re: Orca coating coming off after a few months!

I too have had a couple of reports of destroyed coating with MDP mugs. Refunded the customer, but chalked it off to bad dishwasher loading. Concerning!

Not to mention the scores of smashed mugs being delivered!

How straight are Xpres 11oz orca mugs at present?

Re: Orca coating coming off after a few months!

Where did you buy the mugs? Sometimes, poor dishwasher loading can destroy the coating.

Re: Posting Coasters

Yes I have some C5 board backed envelopes, but the coaster wouldn't go through 'freely'. The postmaster gets into trouble with Royal Mail if they accept them. Maybe try the postbox instead.

Re: Posting Coasters

<t>Just looking at the massive Royal Mail price hikes due on the 7th April. I often send out samples of single Unisub coasters, but was wondering does anyone send these out as letter rate? Or do you play it safe and send them as large letters?<br/>

A large letter will be £3.15 for first class ...

I don't think it is noticeable. I doubt the others are any different. What temperature did you press them at?

Re: New unisub coaster backing is terrible and bends!

If MDF was so great, they would have used it years ago. Yes, my new Unisub coasters were slightly warped when pressed at 180 degrees. But they only wobbled about when turned upside down on the table, so I let it pass.
