Re: Sublimating Bottom of Mug?
<t>I was thinking Silicon Mat, but wasn't sure if they would conduct enough of the heat, I will get some and give it a try. I already used a metal disc and found that the bottom is not completely flat so it's not applying pressure all the way across, which is wear kitchen foil may help, I think I ...

Re: Sublimating Bottom of Mug?
Just completed another test - partially successful. The mugs I am using must be coated on the bottom but because they are not completely flat, I am only getting a partial print. any ideas on what I can use that is soft/flexible that will transfer that sort of heat?

Re: Sublimating Bottom of Mug?
<t>Can it be done?<br/>
<br/>
I have seen a few 'I'm A Tw*t' mugs on ebay and this is something I have been playing about with. I was under the impression the entire mug would be coated so it could be done. I have did a test on 2 different types of mugs with no joy. I was using my tshirt heat press ...

Re: Removing vinyl
<t>I had to do something similar and found after a bit of research that nail polish remover (as long as it contains acetone) works. However, on one top I had used two different vinyls (red & white) and one came off easily with nail polish remover and one didn't - but it is a cheap alternative that ...

Re: British Railways Logos
<t>Hi all, not sure if anyone has ever come across this but does anyone out there know if a copyright exists on any of the old British Railways logos? I have not had much luck looking around but as they became privatised years ago and defunct in 2000 can we assume the logos are now in the public ...

Re: Removing fading/feathering from edge of image
<t>my very first couple of mugs were full top to bottom prints but now I don't do it as that happened to me. I now leave a few mm blank top and bottom - as the rest of the mug is white I don't think this is a problem, you're never going to be able to print right up to the handle so a white 'border ...
