Re: Postage price rise.. April 2nd 2013
<t>Just to let you know, I have just been to my local post office and tried to send a package less than the 16x16x16 exception limit and was told it would need to go as a medium parcel as it was over the limit small parcel limit. Apparently the post office hadn't been told about the exceptions ...

Re: Inner coating on mugs
One good tip for cleaning the inside of mugs is to sprinkle baking soda on a damp cloth and then gently rub the inside of the mug. Works a treat.
I found this out a few weeks back when noticed my personal mug getting really bad and not having dishwasher looked for an alternative.

Re: Franking machines for postage
<t>I spent a full morning a few weeks ago on the phone to royal mail about this. Apparently it is more to do with the collection driver than the post office. It seems RM and the PO are classed as two seperate companies and as a franking customer our contract is with RM and not the PO. It even states ...

Re: Franking machines for postage
Thank you for your speedy reply. I have ordered the bags from RM a few days ago, but haven't received them yet. Will have ago tonight and see how I go. I think the one closest to me is about 1830 which is brilliant as you get a bit longer to produce them.

<r><QUOTE author="bms;38621"><s>[QUOTE=bms;38621]</s>We don't have to take our franked mail to the post office. It gets put in the post box at the end of our road on the industrial estate. Re: posting a parcel
Just thought I had better warn some of you that the parcel companies seem to be putting there prices up. Parcel monkey who I use has just increased a service I use by a staggering 50%. Time to sit down and rework out my delivery costs.

Re: RICOH GXe3350N Can You Use it for Dye Sub?
<t>There will be wastage of the ink in pushing the old ink through the lines. As the ink will mix with the old ink you will need to flush through more than if you were just installing from new. The only way to know that the ink is through is when you print and the colours are bright and not blotchy ...

Re: RICOH GXe3350N Can You Use it for Dye Sub?
<t>Welcome YorkPrint. Don't even go down the route of buying a printer which has had normal inks in as this will be a very expensive option, just to get the old inks out and will waste loads of expensive sublimation inks. Your best bet is to look at purchasing from BMS with the sublimation inks ...

Re: Ink Collection Unit
One other issue is do you turn the printer off, as everytime it is turned back on it will do a head clean. Mine is left on 24/7.
